[x]This RP is set in a semi-futuristic era with a mixture of medieval. [x]Bladed weapons are actually edged with photons. [x]Guns shoot photon bullets. [x]This war has been going about for thousands of years.
The epic and time-honored story of man and beast is once again come to light. Here, the two lived together in peace, going about their daily lives with mutual indifference to one another.
Man lived within the walls of the cities with their advanced and innovative technology. What they lacked in numbers they made up in cunning an intelligence.
The beasts lived in the wild, wandering the land in groups or alone. There were many kinds: from gargoyles to guinea pigs, phoenixes to fowl. Their numbers were great and many.
This separation continued until, for an unknown reason, the dragons forced an attack on the humans. The thousand-year agreement between the races was broken in a matter of hours, and the balance was thrown into chaos. The humans fought back using their advanced technology: guns, crossbows, and cannons. However, the beats far outnumbered them and the humans had to retreat.
There is one last safe haven. It is called the "Crescent." For the humans, leaving its protection is dangerous, and more often than not, deadly. This haven is run by an elite society of knights that is specially trained to hunt and kill the beasts to ensure the survival of the human race. Recently, the leader of the society of knight has perished in a mysterious way. A new leader must now rise, but none have dared try.
Along with the knights, a class of freelancers has emerged. Some stay with the humans, while others see it fit to join the beasts in battle, leaving the protections of the sphere and seeking out the dragons.
Legend has it that three siblings were to bring the end of the hell that is the world. No one knows much about them, but they are believed to each be of one alignment: good, neutral, and evil. The humans can only hope or their arrival before they are wiped off the face of the planet.
