Leon trudged along with Crank, wondering what a dragon was doing down here. After he though about it, clearly there was a going on. Something was going to happen and most likely he'd be sent out with some other troops to the crescent. If he flew and if the wind was on his side he would be able to make it in 35 minutes, that is if he was authorized to tag along.
"Eh...." he groaned at the thought of a long trip.

The dragon looked at Leon, seemingly relieved.
"Are you private first class, Leon?" he asked. "If you are, the commander needs to see you as well."
Crank looked at the dragon, perplexed. Her and Leon might be in the same division, but they weren't in the same unit. Leon was anything but stealthy; in fact, he was more reconnaissance than anything.
"What's this deal?" she asked.
"I'm just a messenger. I suggest you get a move on. Jihirad doesn't like to be kept waiting."

The hybrid nodded. Leon wondered about it, because A: He was a lumbering idiot and not stealthy in any possible manor, and B:He was a lowly rank....
Looking to his friend "Lets get going then." perplexed still he got ready to follow Crank on a breeze, he had only been to the highlands once. So he figured he might have to travel by paw so he wouldn't loose Crank in the thick forests.

The dragon launched off, leaving a cloud of dust behind and the raptor blinking after him.
"This is odd..." she trailed off. She was beginning to get worried. "Well, there;s nothing we can do, but go there, I suppose," she added, looking at Leon.
It was going to be an odd journey: her running along the ground, using her vestigial wings as somewhat of a pair of boosters while he flew along the clouds.
"do you need anything before we go?"

Snorting and sneezing upon the dragon's cloud then watching him float above the Breath. He stared after the messenger "Nope." Again the cocky smile he always held was now over his maw once more. "Lets go!" he grinned, stretching his wings, ready to fly. He would end up having to work his wings this time, unless a breeze was higher up. He figured when the thicker forests were about them he could just make a swift landing and dash after Crank.

"Beat you there," she said simply, dashing off into the distance. She dodged around the trees, leaping and bouncing around them, using them as a push off.
She came out of the woods at the edge of Heaven's Breath, stopping asecond to wait for Leon. He wouldn't be able to take off through the trees, she reasoned, so it was only fair that she waited.

Leon quickly found some high ground that was cleared of trees and launched, though he wasn't far behind, he was high in the sky. Higher than he had supposed he would go. He closed his wings tight against the lean body and dove like a missile. He spotted the edge and spread his wings to slow. Still coming down fast he landed and skid across the ground. Sitting up with a mumble at the higher winds.

Crank grinned. Leon was always so playful.
"If we have to do anything stealthy, you are going to be in trouble."
(move to dragon highlands?)
